Your character can do alchemy in many ways. Here I will give a list of things that can be done by your character to do alchemy.
Note: All Alchemy is done with a transmutation circle, with the exception of alchemy that is done with "The True"
1.) Normal Transmutation - To do normal transmutation, you must first draw the transmutation circle you wish to use, and then touch it giving it energy to transmute the object of your will. This is the most used transmutation.
2.) Tattooed Transmutations - Sometimes a person will have a transmutation circle on their body. This allows them to transmute without drawing the circle that they have on their body. However if they wish to do a different kind of alchemy then the circle allows they will have to draw a circle.
3.) Clothing Transmutations - The same as tattooed transmutation, however instead of tattooed on the body, they are printed on an article of clothing. Again the user can transmute without drawing the circle that is on the clothing. They will have to draw a circle if doing a different kind of alchemy.
4.) Alchemic items - Sometimes an alchemist will draw a circle on an item or a weapon. This allows them to transmute that item without drawing a circle on it. This also allows the user to throw an item with a transmutation circle on it and transmute where that item lands.
(ex. You throw a knife with a transmutation circle on it into the wall. You can then transmute that wall.)
5.) The Truth - This is a power given to alchemist who have seen the gate. With only a clap then can transmute without drawing a circle and without having one on clothing or on the body. However they can not do object transmutation without drawing a circle on the object.
